The Lebanese caretaker government calls on the UN to compel the Israeli occupation to stop its violations
Beirut (ST): Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diyab called on the United Nations to pressure the Israeli occupation entity and oblige it to respect international resolution 1701 and stop its violations of Lebanese sovereignty.
Diyab stressed, during contacts with several parties against the backdrop of the Israeli aggression today and yesterday in several areas in the South, “the necessity of restoring calm and stopping the repeated Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty, which culminated in the raid carried out by enemy aircraft on Lebanese territory, which constituted a direct and strong threat to Resolution 1701.”
In turn, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that the Zionist aggression expresses the nature of this entity based on aggression, which is not deterred by the language of condemnation, but in one language, which is the language of unity and resistance.
