Dozens of Palestinians injured as a result of the occupation’s suppression of a demonstration south of Nablus
Occupied Jerusalem: Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces fired a barrage of bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration in Jabal Sabih, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on its summit, which led to the shooting of two Palestinians, including a journalist, and dozens of cases of suffocation.
A number of Palestinians, including children, were martyred and hundreds were injured as a result of the occupation forces’ assault on the daily demonstrations in the town since last May, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on the top of Jabal Sabih, which is in the middle of the towns of Beita, Qabalan, and Yatma, south of Nablus.
