The Coast Economic Forum kicks off in Lattakia

Latakia (ST): The Coast Economic Forum, which is organized by the Center for the Development of Syrian International Investments, kicked off at La Mira Hotel in Lattakia.

The deputy head of the Center, Dr. Moeen Ibrahim, confirmed that the forum, in which businessmen and investors from inside and outside Syria participate, represents a continuous economic act for the various economic sectors and looks forward to partnership and networking among investors, explaining that the forum aims to launch the “mother of industrial cities” as an electronic platform and introduce the new investment form with Syrian expatriates and contribute to the development of production and investment maps and implement work with the investment leadership to achieve goals that serve the development process.

The center’s secretary, Dr. Faten Nizam, indicated that the center works as an adjunct to the law of partnership with the public sector on the subject of transforming the thinking of the individual and the institution towards investment thought, as an agreement was signed with the World Peace Organization, which includes 227 European companies to provide economic projects in the Syrian coast.

In turn, the Director of the World Organization for Peace in Syria, Ibrahim Ayouba, explained that the forum represents the beginning of economic prosperity in the next stage, and everyone should work to advance the local economy and support local institutions in light of the availability of a safe environment and appropriate infrastructure.

The forum activities for the first day included a presentation on real estate development in Syria in general and Lattakia in particular.
