Al-Miqdad receives copy of credentials of Serbia’s new ambassador to Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the caretaker government Faisal Al-Miqdad, received on Thursday a copy of credentials of Radovan Stojanovic, the new ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Syria.
 
Al-Miqdad welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in fulfilling his duties and strengthening relations between the two countries, describing relations between Syria and Serbia as historic and friendly.
 
For his part, ambassador Stojanovic referred to the deep-rooted and friendly relations between his country and Syria, expressing aspiration to work for the development of these relations in all fields. 
 
He also pointed out that there are many agreements and memos of understanding between the two countries that can be activated to enhance these relations.
