“The Abode of the Soul” exhibition focuses on beauty and tranquility

Artist Lenin Ammar, held his solo exhibition at Abu Rummaneh cultural center in Damascus entitled “The Residence of the Soul” in which he displayed various paintings depicting beauty and tranquility.

Ammar does not adhere a single plastic school in this exhibition, where we see impressionism, realism and abstraction through which he presented varied themes about women, mother and nature.

Ammar said: “The Abode of the Spirit is part of a series of exhibitions that I will hold at the cultural center of Abu Rummaneh.”

He emphasized that he used oil color in his paintings to show the aesthetics of the paintings.

Ammar’s works have focused on women because he sees that women is the most important element in the universe.

The artist was born in Damascus, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts then he travelled to Italy to study and to polish his talent. He participated in many exhibitions and cultural festivals.
