A rocket hits the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, sparking fire…sirens heard: Israeli media

A rocket, launched from the Lebanese territories, hit the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, sparking fire, the Israeli media reported on Wednesday.

 Sirens were heard as shelters were opened for the Israeli settlers in Kiryat Shmona.

Sounds of new explosions were heard after sirens warning of a rocket attack sounded in several Israeli settlements, including Kiryat Shmona and its vicinity, the Israeli media said.

The Israeli enemy responded to rocket launch with artillery fire on Lebanese territories.

According to the Lebanese Al-Manar TV website, six Israeli 155mm projectiles land in open area in Khiam valley.
