Shalabata: The Syrian army is waging a battle for sovereignty and national dignity in the face of terrorism

Bratislava (ST): Jaromir Shalabata, President of the Czechoslovakian Institute of International Relations, expressed his deep appreciation for the role and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against terrorism and its supporters.

Shalabata said in a statement to news reporter in Prague today, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, that “this army is waging a battle for sovereignty and national dignity in the face of terrorism, and it must win and thwart colonial projects of division through the great sacrifices it makes.”

Shalabata expressed his confidence that Syria will be able to restore its security and stability to continue its pivotal role regionally and internationally.
