Syria wins 3 Bronze Medals and a Certificate of Appreciation in the International Chemistry Olympiad
Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won three bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation in the 2021 World Chemistry Olympiad.
The Olympiad was organized by Japan “remotely” on July 28th, with the participation of 79 countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated that the medals were awarded to each of the students, “Maha Ali from Tartous, Ahmed Atar from Aleppo and Anas Abbas from Homs, while the student Ali Maarouf from the National Center for Excellence received a certificate of appreciation.”
It is noteworthy that this is the twelfth Syrian participation in this international competition, and its tests were taken by the Syrian international team with all its members from one examination center at the headquarters of the Excellence and Creativity Authority in Damascus.
