Defense Minister, officers visit wounded military personnel on the occasion of the anniversary of the Syrian army’s foundation

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Minister of Defense in the caretaker government, Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub, accompanied by a number of officers, visited on Sunday injured army personnel at Tishreen Military Hospital and martyrs’ cemeteries where they laid wreaths at tomb on behalf of President Bashar Al-Assad.  
 
The visits were made on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the foundation of the Syrian Arab Army, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), which reported that Gen. Ayoub praised the heroism of the injured and their solid determination and wished them speedy recovery.
 
Gen. Ayoub in addition praised the efforts of the military medical staff since the beginning of the terrorist war being imposed on Syria.
For their part, the doctors at the hospital asserted that they will be always ready to fulfil their national duty in providing health care to the wounded military personnel. 
 
Moreover, the minister and the accompanying officers visited the martyrs’ cemeteries and laid wreathes at tomb on behalf of president Al-Assad, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces. 
 
On the same occasion, the armed forces held a celebration during which field commanders delivered speeches affirming that the anniversary of foundation of the Syrian Army has been and still a title of victory.
 
They stressed that Syria will remain steadfast  under the leadership of President Al-Assad until the liberation of every inch of homeland and the restoration of security and stability to its territory.
