Gharib highly appreciates Syrian state’s efforts to help evacuate 19 Albanian Children and Women from Al-Hol camp

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Albanian ambassador to Syria, Lebanon and Jordan Mark Gharib has highly appreciated the efforts exerted by the Syrian state in all fields to help evacuate 5 Albanian women and 14 children from Al-Hol camp in Hasakah to bring them back to their homeland.

Before his departure alongside the Albanian women and children from the Damascus International Airport yesterday evening, Ghrib declared that the task of the evacuation is the third one in one year and half and all of these tasks were done in coordination and cooperation with the Syrian state.

US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia holds thousands of displaced families, including foreign women and children, in Al-Hol camp  amid catastrophic social and health conditions there and the insistence of some western countries on not bringing back  their citizens and terrorists from it.

Gharib called on all countries to evacuate their citizens from the camp and bring them back to their homelands as this will have positive effect on the situation in the region.

He indicated that Albanian police will help the evacuated people to start a normal life upon their arrival to Albanian.

“The evacuated children are victims and they came with their parents, who died during their fighting alongside terrorist groups,” Gharib concluded.
