Allouk station re-operated after 38 days of stoppage by Turkish occupation

After 38 days of stoppage by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the Allouk water station in Hasakah started working Friday evening in preparation for resuming water pumping to the city’s neighborhoods.

Director of the Hasakah Water Establishment Mahmoud Al-Oukla told SANA that the station was re-operated Friday evening with a capacity of 10 wells and 4 pumps and that water will reach the water tanks in Al-Himma Saturday noon.

“If theses tanks are filled, water will be pumped to citizens houses in the city of Hasakah,” he added.

According to Al-Oukla, the remaining wells in the station were not operated, because some of their equipment were stolen, pointing out that technical workshops will do the necessary maintenance works in order to increase the number of wells and quantity of water production.

The Allouk water station project includes 34 wells, 12 vertical pumps and it normally produces 70,000 cubic meters of water a day.
