Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The international community should act to put an end to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has called on the international community to take decisive and deterrent measures to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes against the Palestinians and to hold it accountable for these crimes.

In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said that the silence of the international community over the Israeli crimes and confining its reactions to condemnation words without enforcing the UN resolutions have encourage the occupation to commit more crimes, noting the crime of killing a Palestinian child yesterday at the entrance of Beit Amer town, to the north of Al-Khalil, and the killing of a young Palestinian at Beita junction, south of Nablus on Tuesday.

The international Security Council should assume its legal and moral responsibility towards putting an end to Israel’s impunity and violations against the international law, the ministry added, calling on the International Criminal Court to immediately start investigation into the occupation crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable.
