Syria, Iran to enhance cooperation in fields of tourism and education

TEHRAN, (ST)_Syria and Iran discussed on Tuesday the means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and economy and tourism.
 
According to tge Syrian News Agency (SANA), Syria’s ambassador in Tehran Shafiq Dayoub and advisor of Rector of Tafresh University Mojtaba Hydari discussed the means of cooperation in the scientific and research fields, exchanging scientific cooperation with Tafresh University and granting scholarships for the Syrian students.
 
Dayoub stressed the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation and exchanging expertise between the Syrian and Iranian educational institutions.
 
For his part, Hydari expressed readiness to cooperate with the Syrian bodies and to strengthen the scientific infrastructure for the interests of the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
 
Tafresh University is interested with qualifying the human cadres specialized in scientific and technology affairs, and it includes four collages, 17 research centers and 45 scientific specializations in bachelor’s degree, master and PH.D .
