Hasakah , (ST) – Public Establishment for Drinking Water in the city of Hasakah installed additional water tanks in the city center provided by civil and charitable associations, in light of the continuation of cutting water from Alouk station by the Turkish occupation.
The Director of the Establishment, Mahmoud Al-Okla, said in a statement to the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) reporter that, the Establishment in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Charitable Societies installed 10 tanks in a number of streets within the city of Hasakah.
He pointed out that the establishment continues to cooperate with organizations and associations to secure drinking water to the people on a daily basis in light of the continuation of the Turkish occupation’ and its mercenaries’ crime of cutting the water of Alouk station.
So far, the number of tanks installed in the streets of Hasakah city center is about 66 tanks of different capacities.
These tanks are filled on a daily basis by transferring water from the Nafasha wells station in the east of the city and the Tel Brak wells station in order to alleviate the suffering of the people and secure drinking water.
The Turkish regime’s mercenaries continue to stop pumping water and cut off water from the Alouk station for more than a month, in order to use the station in its evil schemes in the region and constrain the people.
