Syria wins two bronze medals, two appreciation certificates in the 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad
The Syrian Scientific Olympiad team has won two bronze medals and two certificates of appreciation in the 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) held virtually by Russia on July 19th and 20th.
Students from the most developed counties with wide experience in IMO took part in this event.
According to the Distinction and Creativity Agency, the students Alaa Al-Deen Mohammed and Mohammed Fouad al-Moein from Aleppo won the bronze medals, while the certificates of appreciation went to the students Al-Hussein Khaleel from Tartous and Khaled Rajjoub from Homs.
This is Syria’s 13th participation in the world’s largest Scientific Olympiad in Mathematics.
