SARC distributes food aid to 1200 families in Qameshli countryside

HASAKAH, (ST)_The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) has distributed food aid to the neediest families in the countryside of Qameshli city, according to chairman of the SARC Ali Mansour. 
 
 Mansour told the Syrian News Agency (SANA) that 1200 families in 12 towns in Qameshli countryside received the aid which comes within the response program  that covers 57 towns near Syria-Iraqi border. 
 
He added that the goal of the distribution of aid is to ease the suffering of families in the light of current difficult weather that caused damage to agricultural crops. 
 
The distribution was done with the support of  International Committee of the Red Cross
