Al-Hasakah Cultural Center hosts an art exhibition for five young artists

In celebration of  International Youth Day, a group of young artists displayed about 25 different artworks in the exhibition hall at the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah.

The artistic purposes of the displayed paintings varied between artistic formation and paintings dealing with nature, heritage, originality, and portraiture, in addition to Arabic calligraphy drawn by the participating artists in oil colors and charcoal pens.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, Director of Culture, said that five talented young artists participated in the exhibition to express, through art, their vision regarding several issues dealing with art and daily life

He pointed out that the directorate is keen, through art exhibitions held throughout the year, to host the works of young artists, introduce them to the governorate’s audience, and hold joint exhibitions with professional artists to benefit from their artistic experiences.

The artist, Ibtisam Al-Ali, who participated with a group of artworks, stressed the importance of holding the exhibition as a message from the talented youth showing the need to continue to work and complete achievements despite all the surrounding circumstances, as well as working on the development of the artistic experience through participation in exhibitions and joint artistic meetings.
