The Ambassador of Yemen in Damascus signs his book (Noun and Ma’asfoon) at the Arab Writers Union

On July 14th, the Arab Writers Union in Damascus held a book signing ceremony for the book “Noun and Ma’asafoon” for the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Syria, Abdullah Ali Sabri.

The book includes important studies and research materials that accompanied the stages of steadfastness and sacrifice in the face of the war on Yemen.

During the ceremony, the press advisor at the Yemeni embassy, Dr. Moataz Al-Qurashi, confirmed that the book summarizes the experience and struggle of Yemen.

Professor at the College of Media, Dr. Nahla Issa, pointed out that the book contained information about the media and political war that Yemen was subjected to and the great similarity in the extent of media misinformation about what happened in Syria during the war on it.

In turn, Ambassador Sabri reviewed the chapters of his book, pointing out that it focuses on two main themes , the first related to the media and aggression, and the second to aggression and political solutions.

In a statement on the sidelines of the ceremony, Ambassador Sabri said that the book comes in appreciation of the role of the national media in Yemen.

The Head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, said that the event comes within the framework of shedding light on the participants in national and Arab issues.

Dr. Al-Hourani added  that the brotherly Yemeni people are suffering from the scourge of aggression and war, as the Syrian people have also suffered and suffer from.

Dr. Al-Hourani said: “ The event comes at the goals  of the Arab Writers Union and its standing with the fateful just causes of our Arab nation.”
