Ankara (ST): A human rights report revealed the continuation of human rights violations in the detention centers of the Turkish regime authorities, especially those related to humiliation, starvation and psychological violence.
According to the report prepared by the Investigation Committee of the Turkish Human Rights Association, which reviewed the conditions of prisoners in the prisons of “Van, Izmir Ali Aga and Manman”, according to what the Turkish newspaper “Zaman” reported, “Prisoners complained that they had not been allowed to meet anyone for 18 months in addition to a complaint about addressing prisoners in a way that degrades human dignity, sometimes reaching the level of threat.
The report indicated that there were 26 people in one cell, which was made to accommodated 14 people noting that the Turkish regime authorities ignore local and international reports on violations in Turkish prisons and threaten to prosecute those who raise the issue.
