Khaji: We reject the coercive economic measures imposed on Syria and demand their immediate lifting

Ali Asghar Khaji, head of the Iranian delegation to the 16th  international meeting of the Astana format in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, affirmed the rejection of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria and demanded their immediate lifting.

Khaji said during a press conference that the guarantor countries agreed on the need to continue fighting terrorism and contributing to the reconstruction efforts.

In response to a question by SANA reporter regarding the continuous Israeli attacks on the Syrian territories, Khaji added that the Zionist entity practices an aggressive approach towards Syria and the guarantor countries.He  affirmed the rejection of the Israeli attacks and demanded their cessation.
