Lebanese Democratic Party affirms its adherence to the resistance

Beirut, (ST) – The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Walid Barakat, reiterated that Syria’s victory against international terrorism came as a result of adhering to the option of resistance in the conflict in the face of the US-Zionist alliance.

In a speech in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon, to commemorate the party’s founding anniversary today, Barakat said, “from the first moment of the launch of the global terrorist conspiracy against Syria, we were certain of Syria’s victory due to the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.”  He stressed that, our position is clear. We are on the side of resistance that has struck fear into the hearts of  the Zionist enemy.

The head of the Hasbaya-Marjayoun district in the Democratic Party, Bassam Kazila, said that, “we are steadfast and committed with our brothers in Syria, the resistance, as it is the last fortress of Arab dignity.”
