Art, thought and love .. in a group of art and sculpture works in Jableh

Art, Thought and Love.. the title of an art exhibition in Jableh, the city of love, beauty and creativity, during which the participating artists presented ten artworks at the Forum for Fine Art, which varied between oil paintings and sculptural works in an exhibition held after three days of work in the cultural center square.

Director of Latakia Culture “MajdSarim” said: The forum was held despite the difficult conditions that Syria is going through and the unjust economic siege, explaining that the forum’s title, in its simple words, had great impact and carried great  messages through the works presented by the artists that embodied the meanings of beauty and love through their paintings.

Muhannad Ala Al Din “A plastic artist and sculptor” talked about his participation in the forum by presenting a sculpture that symbolizes the woman who means the homeland and cares for it.. as beauty and pulse, and not as a woman. Regarding his opinion of the forum, Alaa Al-Din said that it is a good step with a distinctive title because Jableh is a heart of love, peace, brotherhood and cooperation.

Hassan Suleiman, a sculptor, says: I participated in the exhibition by presenting a sculpture of cypress wood and adopted the expressive style of life in a female form in a simplified way in order to be closer to the truth, and Suleiman stated that the city of Jableh always deserves the best of us as artists and it is our duty to offer it the best.

The plastic artist, Nojoud Saeed: She explained that her participation came with an expressive painting about women trying to introduce the element of pluralism in colors and add a qualitative shift from dark to light colors and joy that expresses the transition from a pessimistic psychological state to an optimistic state of life.

In an interview with the audience, Sarah Mohamed said: She hopes that the experience of art exhibitions in Jableh will be repeated instead of going to Lattakia or traveling to Damascus, and she expressed her admiration for wood carvings and paintings.

Ali Al-Khair expressed his admiration for the sculptures and paintings presented by the artists, expressing beauty and love, wishing to repeat this experience that expresses the aesthetic taste of the city of Jableh and its people.
