For his part, Abbas praised the efforts made by the Indian government in confronting and overcoming the consequences of the spread of the Corona virus pandemic with its new strains

The two sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries and ways for India to participate in its industrial, commercial, construction and service sectors in the rebuilding process in Syria.

Abbas affirmed that India, like other countries friendly to Syria, will have an active role at this stage and that the doors are open for it to participate in the rebuilding process.

Bhattacharya and Abbas affirmed the commitment of India and Syria to continue coordination and mutual cooperation to prevent the passage of projects supporting terrorism in international forums under various pretexts and false names of humanitarian corridors and buffer zones.
