Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel continues to seize Palestinian lands to undermine all chances to establish independent Palestinian state
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has stressed that the Israeli occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands with the aim of undermining all chances to establish the independent Palestinian state.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that the occupation has escalated settlement building operations and for this purpose it has confiscated 10,000 dunums of Palestinian land, west of Salfit city, intensified house demolitions in occupied Al-Quds and stepped up settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque as well as in the Palestinian cities, towns villages and camps, according to WAFA news agency.
“The occupation exploits the silence of the international community over its crimes against the Palestinian people and their land and property in implementing its settlement building plans,” the ministry added.
It calls for a firm international action that forces the occupation to stop its crimes and implement the relevant UN resolutions in a way that guarantees restoring the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, to repatriation and to the establishment of an independent state on the June 4th line with Al-Quds as its capital.
