As part of national reconciliations, people from al-Hamah town in Damascus countryside hand over their weapons to special authorities

Within the framework of the completion of national reconciliations and settlements throughout the homeland, and at the initiative of the civil society in the town of Al-Hamah in the countryside of Damascus, a group of the townspeople on Sunday handed over their weapons to the special authorities, emphasizing their commitment to the nation and its wise leadership.

 

A SANA reporter stated that at the initiative of the civil society and the town’s dignitaries,  some families in cooperation with the special authorities handed over the remainder of the weapons out of their desire to contribute in returning life to normal, especially with the reality of the conspiracy against the country. 

A number of those who handed over their weapons pointed out that no one will be able to deceive them anymore, stressing the return of life to normal as it was in the past with respect for the law and state institutions.
