The WHO issues recommendations to reduce the spread of “black mold”

The World Health Organization has recommended reducing the use of hormonal drugs and antibiotics to treat mild and moderate cases of Covid-19, in order to prevent infection with the so-called “black mold”.

A spokeswoman for the World Health Organization in Russia, Melita Voinovich, said that some fungal infections in Covid-19 patients in India may be related to yeasts and others to molds.

Voinovich added: These yeasts and molds are usually found in the environment surrounding humans, but they only affect people with weak immune systems, such as people with diabetes and other chronic diseases, as well as cancer, and people who have received certain medications for long periods,” noting that Covid-19 weakens immunity.
