Artist Nidaa Al-Droubi: I love authenticity and heritage to embody the value of my country

Artist, Nidaa Al-Droubi, is gifted by nature.She is a realist  and is interested in civilization and the authentic past. The real situation is the most important thing she aspires to embody.

In an interview with SANA, Al-Droubi said: In addition to painting, I love music, playing the oud, and singing. My voice was heard in Dohat Mimas club in Homs, and I was asked to sing immediately for the artist Umm Kulthum.  I love authenticity and heritage because it is a belief stemming from the fact that I am a Syrian girl with a deeply rooted history. We must shed light on our Syrian glories because they are rich and we must highlight Syrian history in new ways that no one has touched upon.

Al-Droubi added: I paint within the creative realistic doctrine in a dreamy style. I paint with my belief in the Syrian land and its limitless gifts; and I utilize all my artistic capabilities to highlight the civilization and heritage of Syria.

Al-Droubi underlined the importance of knowing and being briefed on the experiences of the artists who were before her and refining her talent through what she saw and experienced. There are many artists whose experiences she benefited from, such as Dr. Haider Yaziji, Ali Al-Sabouni, Milad Al-Shayeb, Aziz Ismail, Dr. Youssef Al-Boushi and many others.

Al-Droubi pointed to the hard work and effort she made to train herself on the most important foreign anatomy artists. She noted that surrealist art is a beautiful and difficult art. She also loves all artistic doctrines because it stems from reality if it is based on talent.

It is noteworthy that the artist Nidaa Al-Droubi participated in many exhibitions and was distinguished by the sense of struggle and resistance that appeared in her paintings.
