Syria says US and Israeli stances towards the occupied Golan are void

Syria has condemned in the strongest possible terms the recent remarks made by the United States and the Israeli entity on the occupied Syrian Golan, asserting that these remarks serve Israel’s policies of aggression and expansion  and hegemony in the region.  
 
A source at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed in a a statement released on Sunday  that Syria’s right in the occupied Golan is supported by the resolution of international legitimacy and  it is an imprescriptible right.
 
It added that the US and Israeli stances towards this right are void and have no legal effect.
 
“Syrian Arab Republic reiterates that the occupied Golan will inevitably return to the homeland by all means that are guaranteed by international law,” the source stated, pointing out that the Syrian flag will be raised on all areas in the Golan after liberating it from the Israeli occupation.
