Allouk Water Station stops working completely due to attacks by Turkish occupation forces, US-backed SDF militia
The Allouk Water Station in Hasakah northern countryside had stopped working completely due to the continuous attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries as well as by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia on power lines that feed the station with electricity.
The water pumps inside the station have stopped, depriving more than a million citizens in Hasakah from water, SANA reporter said.
The aggressive acts by the SDF militia and the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have worsened the water crisis in Hasakah province, a crisis that has continued for two years, depriving the citizens in Hasakah from water and threatening the city with a health and environmental disaster.
On Friday, Director of the Hasakah Water Establishment Mahmoud Okla said that Allouk water station projects, which supplies water to Hasakah, its vicinity and its western countryside, is currently operating at its minimum capacity due to the repeated attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and by the SDF militia.
