Five US-backed SDF militants killed in an ambush in Deir Ezzor countryside

Five militants affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces militia were killed on Saturday in an attack by popular factions  on their car in Deir Ezzor western countryside.

A group from the

popular factions ambushed the car in the vicinity of Jazaret Al-Milaj town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. The group opened machinegun fire on the car, killing five SDF militants and destroying the car, according to local sources.

 Attacks on the US-backed SDF militia continue in response to the militants’ escalated attacks on civilians. An SDF militant was killed on Thursday in a machinegun attack on their car by popular factions in the village of Swidan Al-Jazira in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.
