A civilian killed and his two children injured in an explosive device in Quneitra countryside

Quneitra (ST): A civilian was killed and his two children were injured when an explosive device planted by unknown persons went off in his car in the village of Karkas in the southern countryside of Quneitra.

A news reporter stated that the blast of the explosive device led to the death of the car’s driver on the spot, while his two wounded children were taken to the Martyr Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in Al-Baath city.

A medical source in the hospital said that the ambulance department received two children, aged 3 and 5, who were wounded with shrapnel from the explosion of an explosive device throughout the body. They were given treatment and their condition is stable.

On the 16th of this month, a civilian was wounded by an explosive device planted by unknown persons in his car in the town of Rafid in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
