Syria, Indonesia discuss parliamentary relations

JAKARTA, (ST)_Chargé d’affaires of Syrian Embassy in Jakarta Abdelmen’em Annan discussed on Thursday with Chairman of Foreign Relations and Inter-Parliamentary cooperation in Indonesian Parliament Fadli Zon the ways of enhancing Parliamentary cooperation between Syria and Indonesia.
 
The Indonesian diplomat said that the people of his country highly appreciate Syria’s stances in confronting aggressive policies of the Israeli entity and its crimes in the region.
 
He referred to the strong relations between Syrian and Indonesian parliaments, asserting the end to the need to strengthen these relations through activating the Syrian-Indonesian parliamentary friendship committee.
 
For his part, Annan talked about the situation in Syria and the role of parliamentaryن diplomacy in enhancing friendship and cooperation between countries for the interest of peoples.
 
Zone accompanied the Syrian diplomat and the members of the Syrian embassy in their tour in the Indonesian 0arliamentary museum.
