Haddad: Terrorists groups have depended on drugs as additional way to finance their terrorist practices

MOSCOW, (ST)_Syria’s Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad has said that armed terrorist groups have depended on drugs  as an additional way to finance their terrorist practices and crimes in Syria.

The ambassador’s remarks came during a speech he gave on Thursday in a scientific conference organized by  Belgorod Shukhov State Technological University on  “Innovative Methods for Drugs Prevention in High Educational Institutes”.

“Drugs have spread in terrorist-held areas in Syria,” Haddad affirmed, pointing out that the Syrian army found a huge quantity of drugs when it liberated areas from terrorist groups.

He called on the international and local organizations and institutes to prevent the spread of drugs
