Children of Alwan Choir for collective singing chant for love and for Syria at Al-Azm Palace

Damascus (ST): Children of the Alwan Choir, led by Maestro Hussam El Din Primo, sang collectively for love  and Syria as part of a singing evening hosted by the Azm Palace in Old Damascus on the second day of the “Long Live Music” Festival.

The evening was attended by children from 13 to 17 years old who are part of the choir of the Luna group for singing. The children performed songs of the essence of love in international languages, and sang for the homeland, including “all the love for you from Syria, “ “as we grew up at home”, and “Jasmine grew up with us.”

Famous Lebanese singer Fairuz had a remarkable presence in the evening, where the children performed some of her songs. Primo also performed with the children of the choir “two lyrical dialogues” for Fairouz and Rahabna band.

The children gave a state of joy to the visitors of Al-Azm Palace, who were in complete harmony with the children’s spontaneous performance.

It is noteworthy that the Luna Ensemble for Group Singing is made up of five choirs and orchestras that work collectively and individually to revive collective singing, show its beauty and contribute to returning it to the Arab cultural scene.
