Administrative Reform Conference is held under the slogan (Effective Management towards Dynamic Institutions)

In the presence of Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, the activities of the Administrative Reform Conference, held by the Ministry of Administrative Development under the slogan “Effective Management towards Dynamic Institutions,” kicked off on Sunday morning at the Conferences Palace.

The Administrative Reform Conference aims at reviewing the common problems among all ministries at the level of organizational structure and human resources working in them and suggesting how to address them.

The conference’s agenda will include a presentation on the results of the administrative reform project and will brief the ministries on them to issue final recommendations, approve their organizational structures, and adopt a map of human resources and job vacancies in Syria.

The participants in this conference look forward to realizing a common national vision that brings together all ministries to build departments and institutions that are more dynamic and more capable of performing their official and administrative functions.

The administrative reform project was launched in mid-2017 as a national project based on the thought of President Bashar al-Assad and his aspiration to develop the administrative performance and institutional work of ministries, public authorities and institutions in the next stage and to combat administrative imbalance.

Administrative reform plays a pivotal role in achieving work efficiency in public agencies and the best investment for human cadres by setting fair and professional standards for conducting competitions after developing a map of human resources, job vacancies and job descriptions by the public body.

In its successive sessions, this conference will present the national database for the institutional organization index and the national database for the workforce index in all ministries of the state. The conference will also present the results of the electronic application in all ministries, the results of the institutional organization quality index and the human resources map for all ministries.

The most important outcome of this conference will be the approval of the organizational structure of each of the state ministries.
