Al-Miqdad receives Iraqi Minister of Industry

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Miqdad discussed on Thursday with the Iraqi Minister of Industry Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz the industrial cooperation between Syria and Iraq. 
 
Al-Miqdad hoped that the Syrian-Iraqi bilateral relations will witness development in the fields of economy and industry as the two countries have suffered from the negative outcomes of destruction that was caused by terrorism. 
 
For his part, the Iraqi minister said that the goal of his visit to Syria is to  find opportunities for partnership in the industrial and economic fields for the common interest of the two countries. 
 
He clarified that the policy of the Iraqi government focuses on achieving industrial, agricultural and economic balance between the region’s countries. 
 
Syrian and Iraqi Ministers of Industry have already agreed on the strategic goals and the ways on enhancing bilateral cooperation.
