Czech parliamentarian: Western plans to target Syria have failed
On Jun 15th, Czech Member of the European Parliament Ivan David affirmed that Western plans to target Syria have failed miserably.
David said that European and Western countries are trying to put pressure on it by imposing unilateral coercive measures.
“The repercussions of these measures mainly affect the Syrian citizens and affect their lives and livelihoods,” David said on his facebook account.
David stressed that if these measures are not terminated, this will complicate efforts to repatriate the Syrian refugees .
David pointed out that what Syria has been subjected to in recent years has been an external war targeting its people, security and stability.
