Putin: Banning the supply of medical equipment to Syria is inhumane

On June 14thRussian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the unilateral coercive Western measures imposed on Syria, which led to a ban on the supply of medical equipment to it, are inhumane and unjustifiable.

“Restrictions on the supply of medical equipment and medicines to Syria have not been lifted, even in cases of infection with the Corona virus, and this is simply an inhumane behavior and nothing can explain such a harsh attitude towards people,” Putin said in an interview with the American channel (NBC)

Russia has repeatedly affirmed its rejection and condemnation of the unilateral coercive American measures imposed on Syria and other Western measures against Syria, which primarily harm Syrian citizens, contrary to what the West claims.

On the other hand, the Russian President stressed the continuation of cooperation between his country and Iran in various fields, including military technology and conventional weapons.

Putin pointed out that this cooperation does not contradict the decisions agreed upon with the partners and the United Nations resolutions on the comprehensive plan of action on the Iranian nuclear program.
