Palestinian Foreign Ministry renews its demand to stop Israeli occupation’s settlement plans

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to take practical steps to stop the Israeli occupation’s settlement plans in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a statement today reported by Wafa Agency, the Ministry condemned the occupation’s plan to establish 534 new settlement units to expand a settlement built on Palestinian lands in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus in the West Bank.

The Ministry pointed out that the occupation authorities are implementing systematic settlement plans targeting the entire area south of Nablus by escalating settlers’ attacks on Palestinians in this area to displace them and steal more of their lands to deepen and expand the existing settlements.
