The Israeli occupation authorities announced on Sunday a new settlement plan to establish 543 settlement units in Jalud village, south of Nablus in the West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, responsible for the file of settlement resistance in the northern West Bank, told Ma’an News Agency that the new plan aims to expand a settlement built on Palestinian lands in the village and threatens to seize 400 dunums.
Within the framework of its Judaization and aggressive plans to displace Palestinians, the occupation authorities escalate settlement operations in the West Bank, ignoring international resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
