An SDF militant killed, another injured, in an explosive device attack in Hasakah countryside

A militant affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia was killed and another one was injured on Saturday in an explosive device attack near the village of Oum Hajjira in the eastern countryside of Hasakah.  

Local sources told SANA that the attack was carried out  by popular factions against an SDF-affiliated car near Oum hajjira village.

The SDF militia brought  reinforcements to cordon off the area and carried out raids on the houses during which they hold the residents as hostages and looted the content of the houses before leaving the area.

Last Thursday, an SDF militant was killed in an attack by popular factions on the militia’s checkpoint in Al-Hawl town in Hasakah eastern countryside.
