Syria rejects US Secretary of State’s remarks about occupied Syrian Golan

Syria completely rejects the remarks made by the US Secretary of State about the occupied Syrian Golan, stressing that these remarks come within the framework of the US continuous support for the Israeli occupation and its incessant acts of aggression, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Wednesday.

Golan will continue to be Syrian Arab territory as recognized by the international legitimacy through its rejection of the Israeli annexation decision on Golan,” the sources stressed, pointing out that recognizing Golan’s annexation to Israel by the former US administration has been a flagrant violation of the international laws and the UN Charter.

The source reiterated that Syria’s struggle to restore its occupied territories by all possible means is a legitimate right that is recognized by international laws and conventions and that can’t be confiscated by American officials.

It has become clear to the entire world that the Israeli occupation entity and it policies of aggression and expansion are the main cause of tension and instability in the region, the source affirmed, pointing out that this entity poses a serious threat to regional and international security.

The source made it clear that Syria’s resistance to the Israeli aggression and its struggle to restore its occupied lands in the Golan by all available means is a legitimate right that is guaranteed by all international laws and conventions.
