Occupation forces renew the targeting of farmers and fishermen in the Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – This morning, the Israeli occupation forces targeted again the Palestinian farmers in the besieged Gaza Strip and fishermen in the sea.

Ma’an News Agency reported that, the occupation forces opened fire at Palestinian farmers east of Qarara, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, forcing the farmers to leave their lands. Meanwhile, the occupation navy targeted Palestinian fishermen’s boats in the Deir al-Balah sea in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces attack the Palestinian farmlands in the besieged Gaza Strip on a daily basis in order to prevent the farmers from cultivating their lands in light of the unjust siege imposed on them for years. They also deliberately target fishermen at sea, pursue them and seize their boats to prevent them from practicing the profession of fishing, which is their only source of livelihood in light of the unjust blockade imposed on the Strip.
