Egyptian politicians congratulate Syria on the completion of the presidential elections and the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad

Cairo (ST): Many Egyptian political, union and party leaders sent  congratulations on  the achievement of the presidential elections in Syria and Dr. Bashar al-Assad’s victory , referring to the broad popular participation in this event.

The Arab and Islamic Gathering to Support the Choice of Resistance and Nasserite leaders affirmed that President al-Assad protected Arab and Egyptian national security from the danger of terrorism and partition.

Dr. Jamal Zahran, the general coordinator of the Gathering in Egypt, said that Syria confronted the Zionists’ plans and attempts to divide the Arab nation, so it offered martyrs and sacrifices for the sake of this confrontation, and President al-Assad was the leader of these Syrian and Arab victories.

For his part, Mohammad Rifa’at, head of the National Accord Party, said that the Syrian triangle of steadfastness  represented by the leader Bashar al-Assad, the valiant army and the Syrian Arab people, was able to protect Syria and its lands.

Sayed Al-Asyouti, deputy chairman  of the Human Rights and Citizenship Party confirmed that Syria crowned its victories by re-electing President al-Assad for a new presidential term.

In turn, Dr. Mohieldin Obeid, head of the Egyptian Pharmacists Union, pointed out that Syria, under the leadership of President al-Assad, has reached the stage of self-sufficiency, which prompted its enemies to conspire against and strike it.

Ambassador Dr. Bassam Darwish, head of the Syrian Arab diplomatic mission in Cairo, affirmed that what happened in the presidential elections is a message to the world that Syria is forbidden to its enemies and that the scene of the Syrian masses formed a real rift for the West, stressing that their aggression and conspiracies failed, so the Syrian elections were a democratic and national wedding par excellence.
