Sayyed Nasrallah: Syrian presidential elections reflect political meaning of military victory over terrorism

BEIRUT, (ST)_Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah has declared that the recent Syrian presidential elections that were held last month reflected the political meaning of the military victory over terrorism.
 
He said in a speech he delivered on Tuesday on the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Lebanese Al-Manar TV channel that the victory of Syria and the axis of resistance over terrorist groups, which served the US plot in the region, was consolidated by political victory in the Syrian presidential elections. 
 
Sayyed Nasrallah asserted that the events taking place in Palestine, Al-Quds [ Jerusalem] and Al-Aqsa Mosque prove that we face a reckless enemy who could run forward be ause of its internal crisis. 
 
He pointed out that Washington does not want the war on Yemen to stop, clarifying that  the ongoing blockade on Yemen aims at starving the Yemenis in order to impose certain concessions on Yemen.
