Abu Dhabi, (ST) – The Syrian national football team won Group A in the joint qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar 2022 and the Asian Cup in China 2023, by defeating Guam on Monday with 3-0 in the match that held on Sharjah Football Stadium .
With this victory, the Syrian national football team raised its score to 21 points in the lead, ahead of China by 11 points before China’s match with the Philippines.
The Syrian national team included Taha Moussa, Thaer Karoma, Faris Arnaout, Youssef Mohamed, Youssef Al-Hamwi, Simon Amin, Kamel Hamisheh, Khaled Kardaghli, Mohamed Rehaniya, Ward Al-Salama and MardikMardekian.
The Syrian national team will meet in its last match of the second round of qualifiers with its Chinese counterpart on the fifteenth of this month on the same Sharjah Football Stadium
