Via Arab Venezuela) organization congratulates Syria on the success of the presidential elections

On May 31, Via Arab Venezuela Organization affirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian people in the face of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on them by Western countries

The Organization said that these measures are a tool of war and aggression against the Syrian people. 

 

In the conclusion statement of its extraordinary conference held at the headquarters of the Syrian club in the city of Maracay, in the Venezuelan state of Aragua, the organization expressed its sincere congratulations to the Syrian people on the successful completion of the presidential elections and the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad as President of the Republic

The Organization noted that the victories of the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terror and the forces of aggression. 

The organization reiterated its affirmation that the Golan is an occupied Syrian Arab land and its people are an authentic Syrian Arab rooted in their land. 

The Organization held its extraordinary conference in the presence of representatives of 32 Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian expatriate clubs and societies, and ambassadors of Syria, Lebanon and Palestine in Caracas

In his opening speech, the Syrian Ambassador to Venezuela Khalil Bitar praised the important role of the organization in uniting the ranks and efforts of the members of the Arab communities in Venezuela

In his turn, Elias Labis, the Ambassador of Lebanon and the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Venezuela, expressed in his speech his thanks for the exceptional attendance of the clubs, societies and diaspora associations despite the great difficulties resulting from the measures taken to confront the Covid-19 epidemic

At the end of the conference, the Maracay Club held a music party in the presence of Ambassador Bitar and the Minister Counselor at the Syrian Embassy, Dr. Shawqi Al-Shamat, and the Syrian delegations participating in the conference on the occasion of the presidential elections.
