Tourism Minister briefs his Lebanese, Omani and Iraqi counterparts on investment opportunities in Syria

RIYADH,(ST)_  Minister of Tourism Mohammad Rami Martini discussed on Thursday with his Lebanese, Omani and Iraqi counterparts ways of enhancing cooperation to revive the tourist sector and exchange delegations, experiences and training.
 
The Minister’s meetings with his counterparts came on the sidelines of the 47th  meeting of the World Tourism Organization Committee for the Middle East and the inauguration of the Middle East Regional Office and the Tourism Activation Conference being held in Riyadh on May 26th and 27th.
 
Martini discussed with the Arab Ministers the situation of tourism and the possibility of exchanging experiences in the fields of tourism and hotel training and rehabilitation, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA). 
 
He briefed them on the various tourist investment opportunities in Syria and the facilities provided to Arab and foreign investors.
 
He also called on his counterparts to participate in the next investment forum in Syria, stressing the importance of enlacing and developing tourism ccooperation.
