An interview with Maxim Grigoriev “a member of the Russian Federation Social Chamber”

Syriatimes :What’s your impression about the presidential elections today?

Grigoriev answered :There are many syrian people who want to vote and this is a positive  for all

We never imagined to see this huge crowd of people .It was very strange to us.

There were a lot of negative talks about the elections but we see that the Syrians want stability and to vote for the right person.

We saw many photos of candidates in the  streets which pointed to the freedom of elections for all the syrian citizens .

Every syrian  person  voted today   for the person who he  considers is the best for the future of syria .

Syriatimes: what is your role today in the presidential elections?

Some oppositional  countries like Germany and Turkey and others prevented the syrian citizens from voting because they doubted the integrity of the elections or for political reasons and to support their goals in the country  . They claim democracy but they are the opposite because they don’t apply  international rules .

Our role today is to convey the truth to the world and I think  western  people should come and see the truth where all the  syrian citizens vote freely without any pressure or interference.
