Higher Judicial Committee for Elections: Ballot boxes are full in a number of electoral centers

Damascus, (ST) – A member of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, Judge Nuri Fares, affirmed that, the ballot boxes in a number of electoral centers were completely filled in less than four hours after the start of the elections due to the heavy turnout by the voters.

In a statement to SANA, Fares said that, the electoral centers committees contacted the subcommittees in Deir Ezzor, Al- Hasakah and Lattakia and were informed of their need to provide them with the empty boxes and additional publications.

He affirmed that the electoral process in these centers will continue smoothly and transparently.

Meanwhile, the Higher Judicial Committee for Elections affirmed in a statement to SANA that, the turnout for polling stations inside the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic is very large and exceeded all expectations.
